久留米絣: Kurume-Kasuri is a method of textile dyeing invented by a girl named Inoue Den when she was about 12 years old (born: 1788). The delicately splashed patterned is called double-ikat in Japan or it's literal translation, Kurume Kasuri. The use of the Kasuri thread bound by hand, all natural plants in dyeing and a hand loom in weaving, this traditional technique is deemed an intangible cultural asset.

Great texture, color and versatile, this tie can be worn with suits and particularly appropriate dressed down with a softer shouldered jacket and trousers. Also available as a Bow Tie.
