Kaeda Pocket Square
Kaeda Pocket Square
100% Silk
The Kaeda or Maple Leaf pattern is seen on an ombre dyed base on this glamorous silk. Perfect for adding a discrete touch of interest to a more reserved ensemble.
This silk fabric was originally made for a Komon Kimono. Komon means "small repeated patterns" and dyed Komon goes back to the Muromachi period (1333 - 1573) where the samurai class began to use them as daily clothes. These patterns are equally distributed throughout the fabric and are printed from woodblocks or dyed using stencils.
Hand-finished with Baby Hem edges.
