Gold Glazed Gingko Pocket Square

$135.00

100% Silk

A sophisticated pocket square with woven Gingko pattern and gold glazing. The gold glazed pattern is in the shape of a Kikko or tortoise shell. Use it to add a note to an understated blazer.

This silk fabric was originally made for a Komon Kimono. Komon means "small repeated patterns" and dyed Komon goes back to the Muromachi period (1333 - 1573) where the samurai class began to use them as daily clothes. These patterns are equally distributed throughout the fabric and are printed from woodblocks or dyed using stencils.

Hand-finished with Baby Hem edges.
