100% Silk

Each scarf combines multiple silk fabrics that were originally made for a Komon Kimono. The creation of these fabrics use highly intricate techniques, and tells the story of fabric-making in Japan. These patterns are hand-dyed using plant-based dyes and stencils on silks that are often used for wedding kimonos.
