久留米絣: Kurume-Kasuri is a method of textile dyeing invented by a girl named Inoue Den when she was about 12 years old (born: 1788). The delicately splashed patterned is called double-ikat in Japan or it's literal translation, Kurume Kasuri. The use of the Kasuri thread bound by hand, all natural plants in dyeing and a hand loom in weaving, this traditional technique is deemed an intangible cultural asset.

An occasional Igeta pattern is a nice alternative for a plain tie that adds texture without sacrificing the sleek, formal finish. Great for your working wardrobe. Also available as a Bow-Tie.

Available in Hand-rolled Tipping.
