Indigo Kikko Split Blade Bow Tie

165.00

100% Silk

The indigo Tsumugi silk fabric with fine "Kikko" or tortoise shell patterns was originally made for a men's Kimono and Haori ensemble. The fabric was woven with double ikat technique to create a subtle heathering effect, resembling a lustrous, silky linen.

The solid white silk was originally made for a wear alone kimono. Intricately woven into it's background are the "matsu" (pine tree), "sasa" (bamboo grass), "hagi" (japanese bush clover), "kaede" (maple leaf), "kiku" (chrysanthemum) and "ume" (Japanese plum).

This bow tie is very elegant as a formal accessory or perfect for pairing with relaxed tailoring. Also available as a Necktie and Pocket Square.
